Young crowd though is tech savvy but doesn’t ignore the importance of printed ads and hence every job seeker goes through the advertising column of a printed news journal to find the best opportunity! Whether a person is a Software Engineer, MBA, Doctor or Medical Professional, Finance graduate or from any other field of study, they look for Situation Vacant Ads in Newspaper and apply to fill in the vacancy. Anyone person who is in search of a good work profile can look up for adverts in the newspaper as per their profile. Such ad posts have vacancy notices from executive level till the managerial positions.

Some companies hire talent from the local area and hence they prefer the local candidates of a particular area. On the other hand, some organizations hire talent from any part of the country as they are not particular about the local candidates or indigenous people from an area. The ones who look for workforce from PAN India are Multinational companies and the ones operating with branches and offices all over the country as well as abroad. Such companies conduct recruitment drives at one location for the job location at some other.

Whether it is an MNC or a small company, recruitment drive is more or less on similar pattern. Human Resource personnel usually look for similar skill-set for a particular job role across all the organizations. They have a set of parameters on which they judge the candidates before hiring them. The recruitment process usually includes a written test, followed by group discussion and finally interview rounds. Sometimes it is just a couple of interviews and the previous two rounds are not the part of selection process.
