Steps to change the installation file settings:

  • When a user directly downloads the file from official panda site, the installation file is known as PANDAGPESD.exe for Panda Global Protection & PANDAAPESD.exe for Panda Antivirus Pro. Generally, the location of the file can differ on where the file has been saved.
  • Installation files are located on the CD if installed it from a CD-ROM. To find it, first you have to insert the disk in the drive, open Windows Explorer and go to the CD path: \GlobalProtection for Panda Global Protection, and \AntivirusFirewall for Panda Antivirus Pro and \InternetSecurity for Panda Internet Security,
  • install.exe and setup.exe there are two installation files:

Follow the guidelines below with both the files:

  • Select Properties after Right-click on the file option.
  • Then, select the Compatibility tab from Properties window.
  • In Compatibility mode section, uncheck the Run this program in compatibility mode for the option.
  • Uncheck the Run this program in compatibility mode for option after Click on Show settings for all users
  • Tap on the OK at the bottom of the window.

3. Finally, you have to run the installation file again.
