Every year approximately 20,000 gray whales migrate from the Bering Sea towards the lagoons of Baja California as well as back again. From December through Apr you can witness this amazing journey from the coast of San Diego on academic whale watching excursion with Range topping Cruises & Events and our own partner of 17 years, Birch Aquarium at Scripps. It's a good adventure that will create thrilling remembrances your whole family will never forget. 3 of the 5-hour excursion depart twice every day aboard the Marietta, our comfy, two-story whale watching yacht.

Typically the ship was very big along with roomy. There were a lot of seats the actual seats were very comfortable. Typically the ship was very clean along with well maintained and enjoy whale watching in San Diego.

I've always wanted to accomplish this. Was amazed how calm along with peaceful it was out there and all different kinds of marine life we found. Whale watching was wonderful! Friendly staff and saw whales and dolphins! Many of us saw hundreds of dolphins and five Grey whales plus a momma along with her calf. Very spiritual expertise. The crew and staff were being great.

We found a humpback whale that put on quite a fine show for us and a couple of off white whales - So awesome!

We were lucky to see gray whales, as well as dolphins, pelicans, and sea is also. The volunteers from Birch Tank are very knowledgeable and answer all questions you have. We undoubtedly were able to spot several whales along with dolphins throughout the 3 hour cruise trip. I highly recommend this amazing experience for anybody who loves animals, nature, and the water!

We saw two whales, some sort of humpback and a blue whale. Many of us also saw several dolphins, hens and sea lions. It was a terrific day. Very glad we chosen to take this cruise!

Whale Watch right now couldn't have been better. Weather ended up being perfect, water was perfect; typically the volunteers from Scripps Aquarium were being really great. We saw a lot of whales!

The ship was very major and roomy. There were a lot of seating and those seats were very secure. The ship was very fresh and well maintained.

Not only did we get to see a whale, but we were able to see several types of sea life. It was cool that they had Marine Life Prossionals from the Scripps Institute on board to help you educate the passengers during the getaway
