The Go Green movement and the expansion of the hole in ozone has trembled the world to its roots. Finally people are putting their blindfolds away and doing their bit for the environment. While every one is busy planting trees and using solar energy, we all chose to completely digress from one element that needs our undivided attention, selling scrap plastic.

Plastic are majorly of two types; thermoplastics and thermo-setting plastics.

Thermoplastics are the kinds which can be heated, are malleable and can be moulded again. Basically, in common words, one can say that thermoplastics are recyclable. Thermoplastics include polythene, nylon etc.

On the other hand, thermo-setting plastics can be heated and moulded, but only once. Therefore, in common words, one can understand them as being the non-recyclable ones. Thermo-setting plastics are bakelite, silicone etc.

For a better future and for healthy generations to come, the plastics which are not recyclable, i.e., thermo-setting plastics need to be eliminated and scrapped out in a certain way. Even a bit of negligence on the same would lead to drastic consequences.

At times, junk yards are not just enough to dispose scraps of plastic, there's a process which needs to be followed. Gasification (converting to gas), Pyrolysis (plastic to fuel) are one of these processes of disposing non-recyclable plastic the right way. Another way is landfills, to dismiss the scraps of plastics.

A thing to remember is that burning plastics or dumping the burnt ones just anywhere is not as safe as most of the people consider it to be. One should be careful while clearing out the scrap of plastics.

Rest recyclable plastics can be used again in some other form.

There are various dealers nowadays, to whom you can actually sell the plastic and stay rest assured that it'll be put to good use or be disposed without causing any harm to anyone. https://powerplasticrecycling.com/ is one of the best websites to consider when yo intend to sell/ buy the plastic scrap.

Initially other countries used to take precautions against such disposal issues, but now, our India is no behind any other continent and is gradually progressing and focusing on serious issues such as this one.

To ensure the safety of the environment, long term benefit and futures of the upcoming generations, plastic scrap needs to be sold to the dealers who are good at their work and a collective focus should be kept on the same.

Everybody is doing their bit, now maybe it's your turn.

So sell the plastic scrap, would you?
