- Purchase gear in Kathmandu: You’ll find enough stores for getting trekking equipment like a down jacket, stick, water bottle in Kathmandu. Purchase essential gears in Kathmandu prior to you depart for Lukla.
- Be ready for rain and cold: Be ready for cold in high altitude. Even if it is a sunny day, ensure you carry warm outfits. Also, carry rain coat to avoid being drenched.
- Drink adequate water: To avoid being dehydrated in the higher altitude you should consume plenty of water or fluids.
