Phonetic sound teacher training is a method of reading instruction based on the alphabet and its related sounds. Children learn the shapes of letters and the sounds they decode the words that appear in the text. Mixing the sound in an unknown word is a tactic often referred to as "snatching out." The phonetic method of reading has its advantages and disadvantages, but it still plays a key role in early literacy training in most classrooms.

Merits of Phonetics teacher training-

Gives you confidence-

In phonetic teacher training is a method of reading instruction based on the alphabet and its related sounds. Children learn the shapes of letters and the sounds they decode the words that appear in the text. Mixing the sound in an unknown word is a tactic often referred to as "snatching out." The phonetic method of reading has its advantages and disadvantages, but it still plays a key role in early literacy training in most classrooms.

Helps with spelling-

Phonetic teaching can help children spell new words while writing. Just as they use phonetic sounds of the letters to break down a word while reading, they can use it to break down a word in their mind as they prepare for writing. They can say the word loudly or silently, divide it into smaller parts, listen to the sound, and visualize the related letters. This method is commonly referred to as "invention spelling." Although it may not guide students in spelling the word correctly, it provides a starting point. Through teacher training course in Mumbai, teachers made students to have a great chance of spelling the word correctly - or at least close enough to what the teacher can understand. Spelling phonetic methods can help children perform writing tasks, or they may feel too hard.

Demerits of phonetics teacher training-

Fails with non-phonetic sounds-

Not all words are spelled by phonetic sound method. Many English words are not spelled in the way they are spelled, which may frustrate new readers in relying on pinyin when reading. When faced with words like "say," "sea," "sugar," or "Wednesday," the use of phonetic can lead to students in the wrong direction. Using of the phonetic sound method, "say" will be interpreted as "say". Children should not study wordlessly but should learn to remember these types of words so that they recognize them immediately. Children who rely solely on phonetic methods will not read the words correctly.

Fails to promote comprehension-

The Phonics Teacher Training Course method can help children read a page of text, but this method does not pay attention to the understanding of these words. Using only the pinyin method, students may read the entire sentence without understanding. Whole-language reading is an example of another way of emphasizing linguistic meaning, not just decoding skills. For example, students have a better understanding of the word "ing" when reading a word that learns that "ing" ends. If they understand their background, they may even have faster-decoding opportunities.
