Canopus launches the mobile application based on OBD for the Automobiles

Canopus Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. is an expert in using the OBD technology and OBD II devices for getting the readings of the vehicle diagnostics, error code and allowing the application users to see the details about the errors or internal information about the vehicle. We have worked a lot with BLE devices apart from BLE enabled OBD, we are also well versed in ibeacons devices integration, BLE medical devices and other sensors integration with mobile applications.

We have already developed and deployed end to end OBD based application that gets connected with these devices and displayed the data and readings of these devices on the application screen itself. The application I developed works with OBD 2.

With OBD integration we have performed the following in our project:-

• Speed of vehicle-- Battery status if battery enabled vehicle-- Fuel indicator-- RPM info-- Fuel pressure-- Barometric pressure-- Throttle position.

The application we developed for one of the enterprises, the project was an MVP so it's not live, however, we can share the demo of the application with you. In this, we have interfaced the several BLE enabled devices with the iOS and Android applications and have done a lot of development work in this area. We have worked with the BLE sensors, Bluetooth heart rate monitors, pulse rate monitor, blood pressure monitor and other medical devices that are enabled with BLE 4.0. Also, integrated the Bluetooth enabled chat and connecting the BLE headset programmatically with apps.

The application was a Cab booking application but here the car is charging-based. We have connected OBD device to it, this gives all the information regarding that car including fuel consumption, battery percentage etc. This indicates when we need to charge the car again, the charging depends on how much kilometers we have covered.
