One of the best water purifiers in Chennai is the RO water purifier in Chennai as it is cost efficient and it adds up taste to the drinking water. The components present in the RO water purifiers are:

COLD WATER LINE VALVE:

It is the inlet valve of the RO pre filter. The water source to the RO purifier comes through this valve. This is fixed for the supply of cold water into the RO system.

PRE FILTER:

Water enters into the pre filter from the cold water line valve. The most common filters used are the sediment filters and the carbon filters. This sediment filter helps in removing the sand silt, dirt and other sediments. The carbon filters are used to remove the chlorine and chloramines present in the water.

MEMBRANE:

The reverse osmosis membrane has small sized pores to prevent the impurities from entering into the filtered water. These pores can allow only the minerals to enter into the filtered water.

POST FILTER

After the membrane does it work there is another filtration process known as post filtration. The filter used in the post filtration process is the carbon filter. This removes the taste and odour of the product water.

AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF VALVE:

This automatic shut off valve is closed when the storage tank is full and this stops the water from entering into the membrane and it blocks the drain of flow. This valve is very useful as the consumer does not need to check whether the tank is full or not.

CHECK VALVE:

This check valve is present at the outlet end of the RO water purifier and this check whether the water is getting in through the outlet valve. If the water enters in through the outlet valve, there is a chance for the membrane to be affected.

FLOW RESTRICTOR:

The flow restrictor is very important as it restricts the flow of water and also it controls the pressure. Most of the water will drain out through the outlet valve if the flow restrictor is not present in the RO water purifier.

STORAGE TANK:

The RO water purifier has the tank size which can hold up to 2 to 4 gallons of water. The under counter RO tank has a 12 inch diameter and 15 inch high storage tank.

CONCLUSION:

These are the components in RO water purifier and the water purifier dealers in Chennai will explain you more about the components and its working.
