Everyone wants sleep. Hardly anyone claims they get enough sleep. Of course, everyone wants a nice, comfortable bed. High-density memory foam mattresses, the kind that are thick and conform to the sleeper, are known to be extremely comfortable and have become very popular.

Density, as the mattresses’ title implies, is an important component. Most manufacturers utilize a high density polymer or high density polyurethane foam. High density foam feels very soft, yet provides solid support. The higher the density, the greater the support. When the mattress conforms to the individual, it is reacting to their body heat, not their weight.

Ecomass Technologies

Ecomass is the innovative and technological frontrunner in high density engineered thermoplastics. Ecomass Compounds are totally nontoxic and can be used to replace lead and other traditional materials.

Ecomass Compounds also have applications in a variety of other products where lead and other heavy metals are currently used. Some of these include Lead Free Ammunition, Gamma Ray Shielding, Weighting and Balancing Applications, and Vibration Damping.

Ecomass Compounds are a line of patented, nontoxic, high-density thermoplastic composite materials that can be processed on conventional injection molding, compression molding, and extrusion equipment. Ecomass Compounds can be formulated using a variety of polymers and fillers to meet a wide range of customer requirements

Weighting and Balancing

Ecomass high gravity compounds provide exceptional performance. Its high density injection-moldable materials can be adapted to satisfy a wide variety of needs, including tensile, impact strength, and flex strength; flex modulus; and, heat deflection temperature.

The large amount of base resins and weighting agents at Ecomass’ disposal gives it the flexibility to engineer materials that match its customers’ precise product and application needs at optimal costs. Plus, its skill and experience with numerous base resins allows it to be completely objective when determining which thermoplastic composite material will offer its customers the best solution. It works diligently to provide precisely engineered materials for its customers and not just products off the shelf.

Ecomass high gravity compounds offer outstanding performance. Its high density injection-moldable materials free up premium space in component parts and its weighting and balancing compounds satisfy a wide range of physical property requirements.

Ecomass Compounds

Ecomass Compounds meet the RoHS Directive; do not contain lead or lead compounds; and, contain no materials the U.S. Department of Defense Listing of Toxic Chemicals, Hazardous Substances and Ozone Depleting Substances or the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Hazardous Substances Priority List considers toxic or hazardous.
