Pokemon Mega’s augmented reality feature set is about to expand

We’ve asked Instantfuns about how sensitive this new system is, but expect the kinks to be worked out over time. Such is the way of Pokemon Mega.

AN ACTUAL GYM!

It didn’t take long for affected pokemon rpg players to identify the Pokemon games that locked them out of the game. An hour later, a way to get around the lockout appeared on a top Pokemon Mega spoofing Reddit; some The Silph Road members suggest that the workaround cropped up not even 20 minutes after reports of the anti-cheat block circulated.

The biggest difference between the seventh-gen pokemon games online and their forebearers is probably the lack of traditional gyms. Island Trials replace gym leaders; Z-Pokemon Mega replace badges. Pokemon Mega’s augmented reality feature set is about to expand. Instantfuns announced that an update will soon allow the game to make use of Apple’s ARKit technology for devices with iOS 11, which the company says should create a more "dynamic gameplay" experience.
