MBA entrance exams are post graduate degree which is a certified degree and is arranged to enlarge their business and management related capacities thoroughly. As, MBA is a route which is a full time course and is offered to pursue by the willing applicant or a applicant can get appreciation through distance learning as well or else they can continue it as their part-time courses. Every entrance exams is necessary for the applicants who are willing to secure their admissions in recognised MBA colleges or institutes and they have to appear for the specific entrance exam. Whenever, the applicants think about the MBA entrance exams there are many questions and the first exam that will strike to an applicant’s mind is Common admission test (CAT). And the scores of CAT are considered to secure their admission in most of the recognised B-Schools across country.

Some more entrance exams which are mandatory for admissions such as XAT, MAT, CMAT, SNAP, NMAT, and GMAT and so on. There are very scant colleges/institutes which consider some entrance exams scores for MBA admissions in there college/University/institute.

The MBA entrance exams start from October and continue till March. Mostly the necessary and the main exams are likely to be conducted in the months of November, December and January.   • CAT

Common Admission test is the most popular and necessary entrance examination which is registered by some of the colleges/institutes/Universities for offering MBA admissions to all the willing candidates. Indian Institutes of Management is the conducting body of CAT. The Common admission test scores will be considered for admissions in 20 IIMs approximately and many more management institutes/colleges/universities which are situated across India. It is more than two lakh of candidates who will appear for the entrance exam each year. This entrance exam contains almost 100 questions and the entrance exam is of 180 minutes duration. The applying candidates can apply for the entrance exam by registering themselves or filling the specific application form for their entrance exam. The applications for the candidates will be released tentatively in August-September.

  • CMAT

Common Management admission test (CMAT) is recognised as the second important and the largest management exam among the best MBA entrance exams which are conducted in India. This entrance exam is conducted by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). It is the entrance exam whose scores are considered by more than 500 MBA institutes/colleges/Universities across our country. The CMAT entrance exam is organised in January (tentatively) every year. And it is a computer based entrance exam which includes four sections such as: Quantitative technique, Logical reasoning, and General awareness and Language comprehension.

  • XAT

XAT is the third largest and most necessary management entrance exam which is a computer based aptitude test which is conducted by Xavier labour relations institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. The XAT scores are reviewed by more than 100 management institutes/colleges. And this entrance exam includes four different sections which are as Quantitative ability, English language and logical reasoning, Decision making and GK & essay.
