2 Simple Steps for Planning Vacation

Posted: Apr 02, 2014
People need breaks and though you are one of a kind, you too need a break at some point from the daily chores and the humdrums of professional life. When you actually get tired of all these routine stuff, you think of going on an escapade where there is no work at all for you. Planning a vacation is no heroic deed and a little sense along with some cash could well reward you with amazing trips.
Plan a Vacation
Speaking of sunny patches, you are going on a vacation to brighten up your own life so that when you return, you are revitalized, rejuvenated and ready to attend to your work, with a smile, with a bang. However, some people tend to return to their homes tired from a vacation; is that what you went for? Absolutely not. So here goes the first point and the first step towards a successful vacation:
1. Who are you
Before you decide that you want to go on a vacation, you need to choose where you want to go. This depends on what kind of a traveller you are – are you an adventurer, nature lover, history lover, food traveller or a relaxed animal?
Relaxed animals love to be pampered and do not care what else there is to see. Book a hotel, attend massage sessions and saunter.
An adventurer would love to go on cliffs, do bungee jumping, go underwater, rock climbing, etc. For these species, living life on the edge gives them the thrill and rush, thereby making them refreshed.
Nature lovers love the falling leaves, scenery of lush green gardens out of their windows, cool winds blowing with a mountain in its backdrop. The fresh air makes them feel rejuvenated; for most of them it works.
The history lover loves anything that is medieval – medieval stones, structures, monuments, equipments, coins, etc. He sees beauty in what we see majorly nothing. He loves to know the history of architecture of structures or a thing from the past times.
Food traveller is a person who eats to whet his appetite when he gets depressed, angry, sad, overjoyed, curious or even when he wants to sleep, walk or eat (when there’s no reason left). They are in love with food and so they wander in search of interesting and tasty food items around the globe. Makes them happy.
2. Where you could go
Now that you could make out what kind of traveller you are, you may choose a place that has those facilities to satisfy your vacation pangs. There are different places and different thing that you could go and o respectively. Here are some examples based on our division of travellers.
Relaxed animals could go to places that offer spas and massage services. For a start, you may go to Yorkshire spa hotels to feel the rejuvenation spurt out from within you.
For the adventurer, you may opt for the beaches, the mountains, rocky areas and rainforests or deserts where you could flex yourself to hardships and emerge a winner.
Nature lovers may find solace in forests, hills, seaside, islands or anything that has a lot of greens and no pollution.
History lovers have many places to go as each city has some or the other place that has historical importance. However, places like the London museum could do well for a start.
Food lovers have the globe to explore. Go ahead, eat.
Always make sure you get the right accommodation and have all your documents with you wherever you go. Also make sure you do a check on the city for the kind of public it has and how safe it is for you there.
