Printers show a lot of tantrums thus it has never been easy for a normal printer user to maintain their printing machine. Canon Printer can definitely fulfill all your printing needs but you need to make sure that you handle every error in an elegant manner. Canon Printer can have numerous error codes and few of them are mentioned here:

  1. E-02: Canon Printer E-02 indicates that the paper cannot enter the main tray in a proper manner. To remove the error first, place the paper properly and then see to it that nothing obstruct its path. Apart from this, please make sure you are using the correct paper mean for printing with your machine. If this doesn’t resolve the issue then clean the feed roller.
  2. B200: It is a service error which suggests to turn off your printer and check for unwanted packaging material or debris within the printer. If this doesn’t solve your problem then maybe the error code is associated with overheated print heads. Remove all cartridges and then print head, reinstall print head and then cartridges. After that, unplug your printer and then plug it back. Do a nozzle cleaning if required.
  3. 1300- When you come across error 1300, realize that there must be a paper jam in the paper output slot. In such case, pull the paper out slowly without tearing it. If this doesn’t make any sense to you then try reloading the paper and tap Ok on the touch screen of your printer. This will cancel all the print jobs. You can try reprinting from your printer.
  4. Error 2,140,21: This is an error code which is associated with Canon Scanner. To fix the problem you can try different methods. Go to "Devices" on your Windows computer and then click your printer to stop printing or you can try reinstalling the appropriate driver. If none of these help you then try disabling the Firewall till you perform printing. Although, at times replacement of cartridges can also resolve the issue.
  5. B504: This error code is associated with Canon Maxify Printer. You will see this error code when the cartridge is completely empty or the ink is not flowing from it. Replace the printer cartridge with a new one to remove the error.
  6. 1401: This error code is an indication that either the cartridge is not connected properly or there is something blocking the connection. To fix this error, remove the cartridge that is causing the issue and clean its connectors. After that, reinstall the cartridge and check if it can print or not. If this doesn’t solve the problem then you need to replace the cartridge with the new one.
