Nasik, A Must Visit Place!

One fine day, my cousin from Mumbai called me and surprised me with the news that she got engaged to the love of her life. The wedding was in a month. I was thrilled to hear this and could not express my happiness in words. She needed help with all the arrangements and wanted me to come over as soon as possible. I did not take a moment to book my tickets for Mumbai and was there in no time.

After a day or two, she asked me if she and I could take a small trip near Mumbai. To have some final bachelorette-sister bonding moments. I was up for the trip. But I had no idea about the destination she was planning about. When I asked her where she wanted to go, she replied Nashik. It was a big no from my side. It sounded extremely boring to me. She kept insisting and convincing me that Nashik is an incredibly interesting place to go. Since childhood, she has been a big fan of mythological tales.

I finally agreed and realised that actually I had no other option. The reason being, she had already booked an accommodation in Nashik, which was apparently extremely beautiful. So, the next day we took our car and drove to our hotel in Nashik. My cousin and I went to all the places she wanted to, Ram Kund, Sita Gufa etc. I realised that these places were actually beautiful. After her choice of places, the next day, we went to the places of my choice. I was always keen on visiting a vineyard and to know the whole process of how wine is actually prepared. We went to the Sula Vineyards.

By the end of the day, we could have stayed at the accommodation of the Sula Vineyards, but our 3-star hotel in Nashik, where we were staying, was perfect for us. So we preferred going back to it. By the end of the 2 days, I was thinking to myself, that had I not agreed upon coming to Nashik, it would have been such a great mistake and I could never have some amazing sister-bonding moments with my cousin in such a great way.
