For acquiring a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), the subjects to clear depend upon the individual’s decision to fly in India or Abroad. If you decide to fly in India then you shall have to clear written exams and One Written Viva Examination, which are Navigation, Technical, Air Regulation, Meteorology and Radio Telephonic. If you decide to fly abroad, then you only need to clear Navigation, Air Regulation, Meteorology and Radio Telephony in the case of CPL.

EligibilityFor the eligibility part, you need to have Physics and Maths so the Science stream is preferred and if you are not from the science stream then you can appear for Maths or Physics from the regular university or from National Institute of Open University (NIOS). Once you have cleared these exams, then you will be eligible to pursue CPL.DGCA Medical CheckupYou need to do the medicals to check whether you are medically fit to become a pilot.

1. Get class II medicals done
2. wait for the assessment of medical results from DGCA
3. on receipt of assessment; you can go for Class 1 medicals.
4. Join ALPS

Please carry the following for Class II medicals

1. Three passport size color photographs
2. Tenth class passing certificate
3. Copy of Aadhar card
