What Are The Uses Of Black Salt Or Kala Namak?

Black salt is excellent digestive aid, its aroma and compounds stimulate secretion of digestive juices and enzymes and promote easy digestion of food. According to Ayurveda Black salt has cooling effects and its use is very beneficial for people suffering with excessive gas formation or acid reflux.
Its digestion improving abilities make it a perfectly safe remedy for treating constipation. People suffering with chronic constipation are advised to consume a mixture made by using Black salt powder and many other spices regularly before meals to have smooth defecation on regular basis. In traditional medication it is also a part of medicine prescribed for treating Goiter and Hysteria.
Black salt is used in many vegan and non-vegan dishes, its unique taste and special aroma makes it a popular condiment used for seasoning dishes with other spices. It is necessarily used in various types of snacks and can be sprinkled over cooked dishes for taste.

Roasted Cashew nuts mixed with Blacksalt taste exotic and much better than common salt. It can be used with all other dry fruits in roasted form.
Sprinkle a pinch of Blacksalt over fruit salad or any other type of salad. It makes fruit salad really scrumptious and renders a different taste to it.
Add a dash of Blacksalt to Lentils, Vegetables and other dishes after cooking for unique taste and different color.
Without Blacksalt powder any Chat dish is incomplete and tasteless. It is used in preparing Pani for Pani Puri and is sprinkled over Dahi Tikka, Aloo Tikki, Dahi Sonth etc.
