IIFT 2019 Eligibility criteria for Indian nationals

The candidates belonging to any category must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the national level entrance examination.

Age limit – There is an age bar to appear for the examination. Age is just a number.

Minimum qualification – The candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or college. The minimum duration of the bachelor’s degree must be three years.

Appearing students- Final year students are eligible to appear for the examination. They have to submit a certificate stating that the candidate has fulfilled all the requirements necessary for the graduation. That certificate should be signed by the registrar or dean of the college.

IIFT 2019 Eligibility criteria for foreign nationals / NRI

• Foreign candidates are also eligible to appear for the examination. The candidate must be a resident of India. The candidate must live in the country for more than 18 months as in mentioned IIFT eligibility criteria.

• Foreign candidates can apply for the examination with GMAT score.
• GMAT score must not be older than January 1, 2018.
• NRI sponsored candidates are not included in this category.
• The foreign candidates must have a valid passport and travel document other the Indian country. The candidate from other country is required the same to appear for the national level entrance examination.
• If the foreign candidate has already appeared for any other national level entrance examination like CAT, XAT, then he/she is not eligible to appear for the examination.
• The latest GMAT score should be sent to IIFT before 15th February 2019. The general management aptitude test (GMAT) taken before 1st January is not valid.
• All the academic qualification is required to submit along with the application form. The originals had to be shown at the time of admission.

Start registering once you are eligible

The candidates who fulfill all the requirements to appear for the national level entrance examination. The application form will be available in both offline and online mode. The aspirants can register through the official website of IIFT. The registration process is likely to start from the last week of July 2018 and will continue until mid of September 2018. The candidates who successfully registered, filled the application form and paid the application form can download the IIFT 2019 Admit card from the official website of IIFT. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the login credentials acquired at the time of registration. The admit card will contain details like the personal details, the name of examination venue and timing of the examination.
