How to change displayed maps on garmin gps screen?

So many maps are available from Garmin on your GPS receiver, surely you will like to turn few of them OFF and

ON, so as to show or hide various maps. However, the process of altering displayed maps is not simple at all. But,

in our today's blog, we shall discuss best possible instructions to achieve this task.

Changing the displayed Maps on Oregon, Colorado and Dakota series

With this, you can hide or show displayed maps on Oregon, Colorado and Dakota GPS units. Steps may differ

depending on profile and unit you are using.

STEPS:-

1. From main menu screen, select Setup button
2. Click 'Map'
3. After then, select 'Map Information Select Map'
4. Now, click on every Map to display or hide the Map
5. The procedure is simple for Dakota Series, as you only have to click on Enable or Disable ad it will turn

into blue

6. Repeat this process for any Map until you get it configured as per your need Changing Maps Displayed on eTrex Series, 76C(S)x and GPS Map 60C(S)x

It will guide you to change Maps on eTrex Series, 76C(S)x and GPS Map 60C(S)x and other similar units. The process

is not as simple as it was for Oregon, Colorado and Dakota series.

STEPS:-

1. Tap Page button until you see the map
2. Select menu option and after then, scroll to 'Setup Map' option
3. Hit Enter
4. Scroll left/right until you get ''I'' (Map Setup Information).
5. Select Menu
6. Here, you may scroll to any choice and then press Enter. You may choose to show none or show all from the screen.

Now, you need to hit Enter when it shows Hide (Map Name), it will automatically hide your map and will turn to

''Show (Map Name)''

7. Hide or show Map until you get it configured as per your need. To go back to map, tap twice on 'Quit' option

Changing Displayed Map on Nuvi Unit

Generally, these maps are displayed on hand-held units and can be downloaded and turned OFF and ON by

installing Nuvi Automobile.

STEPS:-

1. From the main menu screen, select 'Tools'
2. Select 'Settings'
3. Scroll down to search 'Map' option and then click on it
4. Hit 'Map Info'
5. Uncheck those maps that you want to hide and select those maps you wish to display
6. To go back to the menu, tap Back 2-3 times.
