Make sure that your knees are behind your feet. Usually, people injure their knees by bending them instead of moving back their hips. Also don’t arch your back too much. Raise your arms above your head and bring your hands together.
To make it more challenging, lower your elbows to bring your hand in align with the chest. Twist your core to one side while staying in squatting position. This will improve your digestive and lymph system.
Warrior Pose I, II, and III
This combination of poses has to be performed in a flow for the best result. These postures make every muscle of your body work. To perform Warrior I, place your one foot facing forward while other foot should be positioned sideways. Go into a lunge position by bending the knee to 90 degrees of a foot placed sideways. Stretch your arms and join your hands together above your head.
For Warrior II, keep your legs in the position mentioned above. Make your chest and hips face forward. Spread your arms sideways and don’t try to slouch your shoulders.
To execute Warrior III posture, Bring your feet together and stand straight. Raise your one leg while simultaneously bending your body forward. Make sure that your leg, hips, chest, and shoulders are aligned with each other. Stretch your arm forward to keep balance.
Make sure you stay in each position for thirty seconds.
Child’s Pose is usually associated with cool down segment of exercise but it can also be effective in burning fat. Sit between your heel by bending your knees. Move your bend knees outwards and touch your forehead to the ground. Move your toes together. Stretch your arms in front of you.
