In the past years, the world has experienced a massive health wave. Refueling food, supplements, gym clothing, home trainers, etc. are things that are being bought by the consumer. There are many doors the fitness industry opens up for businesses. One of these doors is the entrance into the sweatshirt wholesale business. The more people sweat and work out, the more people buy a sweatshirt. Here are three things to consider before investing in wholesale sweatshirts.

When is the right time to invest?

Before investing in a business, one must ask the question, "Is this the right time to invest?". In this case, yes it is. More and more people start working out or move actively. This, obviously, leads to sweat. The health-conscious person wants to avoid catching a cold or a muscle spasm. Of course, next to the health reasons of wearing a shirt after the workout, there is the fashion part as well. The consumer wants to look fashionable and sportive after working out. This is why the market for sweatshirts, especially heat regulated shirts, is growing constantly.

What size range should you buy?

We already have established that many people nowadays work out. While we only see the skinny, trained people in ads, social media, etc. there are many larger sized people that take care of themselves as well. As a sweatshirt wholesaler, you should have all major sizes (small, medium and large) in equal amounts in stock. Also, don’t forget to differ between women and men sizes and cuts.

A small tip here: Make sure that the size tags are present and placed in a spot where the buyer and consumer can determine the garment size easily. No one likes guessing sizes.

Style and Design

Before ordering sweatshirts in all sizes, you should do some research on you target audience and your direction. Where do you want to sell you sweatshirts? Who is the end consumer? What do they want? Do they like print or a plain shirt? What is your competitor doing? This knowledge helps you to determine the colors, styles, shapes and general design of the sweatshirt you should sell. Also it helps you to avoid selling the same shirts as your main competitors. The ultimate goal is to sell something unique consumers are unable to find somewhere else. If you do your research properly, it will increase your rate of success by at least 50%.
