GP Tailing Dewatering Screen

is mainly used for small size material, such as fine sand,ore tailings, and other tailings. Compared with Linear Vibrating Screen, it has advantages like high capacity, good dehydration,low water content,wide application, good performance and price.

Working Principle

The tailings are uniformly fed by the feed box (or cyclone), and about 1/3 of the moisture is removed by the pre-dewatered screen plate installed in 45°, then entering the joint of the flat screen plate and the inclined screen plate, the accumulation of materials occurs, and the material particles settle by gravity, and a thin filter layer is formed, and the filter layer prevents the remaining particles from being sieved, so that the filter layer is gradually thickened.

The water that fails to pass through the sieve forms a pool in the upper part of the filter layer. Because the filter layer is thinner here, the moisture gradually removes under strong vibration, and the high-frequency and low-amplitude vibration makes the particles such as tailings forming the filter layer more and more dense, and it vibrates to the discharge port, then material forms a filter cake. Part of the water will be removed from the screen surface, other moisture in the material adheres to the surface of the material layer due to capillary action. Since the screen surface is installed at a negative inclination angle, water can not overflow from the discharge port, but flows to the joint pool complete the material dehydration.

Screen, formed by modular polyurethane or stainless steel panels. The special design of these panels, with trapezial cross section mesh openings, together with their elasticity, revent obstruction and blocking. The result is a larger effective filtering area than in other types of mesh. Thanks to the modular design, the position of the mesh in the panel can be changed to ensure a regular wear of each panel.

6. The small dewatering machine adopts rubber spring to reduce vibration,also with low noise and good shock?absorption. It greatly reduces the dynamic load of the screen machine on the foundation. The large dewatering machine adopts high manganese steel spring, which has good elasticity and long service life.

  1. The side plate is made of high quality boiler steel which is of good performance for welding,besides it has better performance against wet H2S stress corrosion.
  2. The whole machine design adopts finite element structure analysis software to ensure the strength, rigidity and force of the screen frame are reasonable, besides the weight is light, energy consumption is very low.
