A vibrant metropolis in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dubai is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Middle East. This capital of the Emirate of Dubai is visited by plenty of tourists from different corners of the globe every year. In the journey from being just a port of call to an ultra-modern city, it has still managed to preserve its rich cultural heritage. During your time spent in this awe-inspiring Emirati city, you'll get to visit its globally renowned attractions. You'll also get to indulge in some exciting activities that it offers for its visitors.

While booking your Dubai holiday packages, you have to consider its two major seasons. The summer season from April to October is characterised by extremely hot temperatures during the daytime, which makes it very difficult for tourists to venture out of their hotel rooms. You may also suffer from a heat stroke if you spend too much time outdoors, especially during the afternoons. The best time to visit the city is during its winter season from November to March. You can visit all the popular attractions and enjoy your favourite outdoor activities in the city during this time of the year.

Your Dubai holidays would never be complete without a visit to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. It has an overall height of 829.8 metres and its observation deck is a favourite among many tourists to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the entire city and its surroundings. Get to the Dubai Mall to have a memorable shopping experience. If you're travelling with your entire family, including children, your kids can have a wonderful time at the mall's indoor theme parks. You can have a glimpse of the life of this city during the pre-oil era by visiting the Bastakia Quarter.

Some of the other attractions worth exploring during your all inclusive Dubai holidays are the Jumeirah Mosque, the Dubai Museum, and the Jumeirah Beach. The waters surrounding Dubai can also give you the chance to indulge in some thrilling activities. Among them is the reef and wreck diving, which would take you to the artificial coral reef located at a depth of about 25 metres. You can also go trekking at various spots in the Hajar Mountains. There are shorter climbs as well as some challenging treks to be experienced in this part of the UAE.

During your time in Dubai, you'll also get the opportunity to savour the mouth-watering treats of the city. Among them is Al Harees, which has an exotic flavour and is prepared by cooking meat and wheat for a longer duration with a pinch of salt. Spices are also added to enhance the taste of this dish. Yet another popular delicacy enjoyed by many is the Shawarma. This particular dish is made using lamb or chicken mixed with pickles, garlic sauce, tomatoes, and fries. The entire mixture is then wrapped in an Arabic flatbread. A few other dishes that you may like to taste while holidaying in the city are Hummus, Al Machboos, and Kebabs.
