Honey Baked Sesame Chicken Recipe - When you will try this scrumptious, saucy and delicious sesame chicken - you’ll surely forget all the tiredness and will be in love with yourself for making such perfect delicacy.

INGREDIENTS - Oven baked chicken, boneless skinless chicken breasts, large beaten eggs, all-purpose flour, bread crumbs, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder and honey.

For Sesame Sauce - Low sodium soya sauce, water, sesame oil, light brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, cornstarch, sesame seeds, and chopped scallions.

DETAILED RECIPE - In a bowl combine eggs with a tbsp of water, beat well and set aside. Sprinkle the flour out onto a clean plate and set aside. In another bowl, combine panko bread crumbs, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Keep whisking until well combined. Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes. Roll chicken pieces in the flour. Then dip each piece in the egg. Thereafter, roll the chicken in the panko mixture until it's completely covered. Place the pieces on the prepared baking rack and bake in the preheated (400 degrees F) oven for 20 minutes.

It’s time to make sesame sauce - Place a saucepan over medium low heat flame. Combine sodium soya sauce, water, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice, vinegar, fresh ginger, and minced garlic. Bring the flame to low. Now take a small bowl, add cornstarch and a teaspoon of water and whisk until smooth. Add cornstarch mixture into the sauce and cook until just thickened. Stir in sesame seeds.

In another bowl, combine honey, prepared sesame sauce and ketchup.

Check your oven and find out whether the chicken is cooked or not through its color - it will be golden brown. Place it in a large bowl and pour the sauce over the top. Toss the chicken so that it mixes evenly in the sauce. Sprinkle some scallions. Serve at once. You can serve this chicken with steamed vegetables and/or rice.

l Total time - 45-50 minutes approx
