SSC Stenographer Recruitment Details 2018

Stenographer is conducted by Staff Selection Commission is a national level Competitive Entrance Exam for the recruitment of Grade C and Grade D. The official SSC Stenographer 2018 exam notification will be released on date 29th september 2018 and candidates can fill the online application form registration link. The last date to apply online form is 22nd October 2018. SSC invites candidates for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade C & D in a General Central Service Group āCā & āDā Non-Gazetted post in various Central Government Ministries/Departments, in different States & Union Territories.

SSC Stenographer 2018 Exam Date: 4th-8th September 2018

Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates should check the following eligibility criteria before applying SSC Stenographers exam for Grade C & D
- Age Limit: The age should be between 18 to 27 Years as on August 01, 2018. The Date of Birth will be considered as per High-school or equivalent documents.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (12th) exam or its equivalent degree from a recognized University or Board.

The Grade C vacancies are segregated according to the candidate's category in different organization. It has Grade pay scale range of Rs. 4200 - Rs. 4600.

Stenographer Selection Procedure 2018
SSC Stenographer exam will be conducted in 2 stages:
- Computer Based Test and
- Skill Test
There is time duration of 2 hours for general category candidates while visually handicapped candidates have time duration of 2 Hours & 40 Minutes. Candidates who have clear the cut-off marks criteria will be eligible for stenographer skill test. The skill test required the typing speed of 100 WPM in English and 80 WPM in Hindi.
