After the right execution mechanism for link building campaign has been chosen and it is ready to be launched, one cannot forget about the SEO part or Search Engine Optimization. It’s easy to get carried away with the excitement of the campaign; however, some amount of time needs to be invested in order to make sure that all the aspects related to SEO are being covered. This is a very important step in this entire process as it would help to generate more traffic and add more value to the business.

- Page Titles: This is the basic and perhaps the most important point which needs to be taken into consideration. Targeting a keyword which has already been used by another page should be avoided.
- Meta Description: An attractive and well-composed page title is not sufficient enough to help improve the ranking. Some amount of time needs to be invested in writing an accurate, enticing and clear Meta description. This is the section which would reflect the piece of the content. This would help the content to be used in the social platforms and also improve click-through rate.
- Text and Images: Talking of text and image, the infographic is a common example. There could static infographics with lots of texts. With the help of relevant and informative texts, it is possible to create a more attractive and enticing content. The idea is to draw as much traffic as possible, therefore, in order to achieve that it is imperative that sufficient amount of content in the form of text is being added. Images play an equally important role. People like to an idea of what they are reading about. Here come the images into the picture. They can portray a true and clear view to the people who would get a clear idea and at the same tile would be able to match the text with the image.
- Internal Links: This is another important aspect which needs to be taken into consideration. There are two types of internal links that are used when it comes to optimizing the content
- Links to Key Pages: As the name suggests, this type of link is created to link with the key pages in the site. They can be in the form of the navigation bar, a footer or links within a copy.
- Links from Key Pages: It is just the reverse mechanism of the one mentioned above. Here links are created from different key pages
