While one side is for women, the other side of the tent is only for men. The section reserved for women is usually larger in comparison to men’s section. No man can have a look at the women’s section apart from the owner. There are tent flaps called ‘ruaq’, which are hinged to the sides of tent. They are usually used to enclose the whole tent especially at sleeping hours in the night.
