A visit to Cappadocia would give you the opportunity to witness the rock-cut Byzantine churches and the astonishing rock valleys. While in the Pamukkale town of western Turkey, you'll be delighted to visit the awe-inspiring white travertine terraces.

Among them are the cruising trips that take you to some fabulous islands in a yacht and allow you to savour the enchanting views on the way. One of the hot air balloon rides can be enjoyed while in Cappadocia, which takes you on a trip over the wonderful rock formations. You can try some paragliding adventures from the Babadag Mountain's summit during your visit to the resort village of Oludeniz. The jeep safaris to the Taurus Mountains take you through some marvellous sights of orange groves and banana plantations.

During your holidays in this fantastic destination, you'll also get to savour some delicious dishes of the region. Among them is a savoury soup called Corba, which most of the Turkish people have for their breakfast. One of the country's popular dishes, it is made using tomatoes and lentils. A famous street food in the coastal parts of the country is baked potato or Kumpir. It is prepared using several items for filling, such as Russian salad, cheese, sausage, and pickles for topping. Upon visiting any of the Turkish restaurants, you can savour some traditional foods like Lahmacun or Pide.
