As a result of the cyber-attack becoming a regular occurrence, the need for cyber protection is ongoing. Despite this, many businesses around the world fail to train their business data security techs in the prevention of social engineering attacks. They have also failed to fight about against this type of attack as well as others.

More than half of every cyber security invasion is inflicted on social engineering. There are many ways to accomplish this, such as creating social media accounts for fake users, making phishing phone calls and sending phishing emails, and the creation of fake URLs. While this won’t take the place of IT professionals, it will help businesses cut down on wasted time by allowing them to protect their data more efficiently. Experts have stated that businesses should be using a combination of IT techs and artificial intelligence to defend their network against attacks. This allows them to fight off cyber-attacks 24 hours a day, seven days of the week, which has become a necessity in today’s world.

It is crucial for both IT professionals and artificial intelligence to be used in the area of cloud computing security. By 2020 the security services for cloud-based networks is predicted to grow to $8.92 billion. Industry standards are being set for dealing with security breaches, especially when they involve businesses with a high profile. This is also why there is a push to increase opportunities for cybersecurity training and education.

In 2018 and beyond, data security is an issue that no business can afford to ignore. Advances are being made every day to give businesses a better line of defense against cyber-attacks.
