The weather in Lang Co Beach is divided into 2 seasons. Dry season is from March to August, and it is the peak tourist season. If you like swimming, diving and snorkeling the dry season is the right time for it to take a relaxing vacation. The average water depth is below 3 feet and also the temperature is an ideal 77A?F, less than hot and less than cool. The beach includes a very distinctive clean and pristine beauty to it. When the sun shines within the beach, it's as if 1000s of sparkling diamonds are hidden under the white sands so far as the attention are able to see.

After an entirely day sunbathing on the beach, swimming and getting a nice tan, I enjoyed my dinner with a local beach side restaurant. Since the beach is often a popular destination for diving and snorkeling there are many incredible gourmet seafood restaurants located at the beach. You are absolve to build your own meal while you select various models of shrimp, lobster, fish, crab and oysters. I enjoyed some beautiful dishes that words alone can not give adequate representation on their delicious mouth-watering flavor. Grilled prawns were the most popular dish in support of beneath the talented hands from the master chefs here, could I enjoy their amazing taste while soaking in the ocean breeze near the beach.

On my second day at Lang Co, I decided to go to a fishing village called: An Cu Dong, which roughly means, "A great place for settlement within the East". In 1916, King Khai Dinh passed by Lang Co Bay and was astounded by its beauty; hence he decided to develop a vacation place here. Since then, Lang Co bay is definitely a stylish destination on travel map. As we visited the fishing village, our guide brought us to the oldest man on the island and he told us stories about the village. "This village was started 250 years back and inside the village you can see many landmarks including the hundred-year-old communal houses, the Nguyen dynasty ferry as well as the stone through the reign of King Khai Dinh praising the beauty from the village", he quietly stated. Local people rely mainly on fishing for his or her livelihood only at Lang Co bay. I noticed a young woman who was leisurely sewing netting about the beach who every now and then took a long check out a well used boat for the beach. I asked a neighborhood what she kept investigating and was informed that they was looking for his husband. I went closer and politely asked what she was looking for; she distributed to us "Here, every fisherman has divided the sea into different partitions anf the husband is permitted to fish at his own area, this is why you can easily see my partner never roams too far from this point, he's over there", she said as she pointed in a man who had been standing about the front of an small boat. Like other fisher-families from Quang Binh province, her husband uses "Vo" for fishing. "Vo" is often a net which has 4 corners secured with bamboo sticks; an angler will place "vo" in area he believes that fish will swim over the most. From the island, "vo" appears like a small floating-house. Although, the woman seemed use a tough life netting all day long, I could see the happiness on her behalf face as she watched her husband work. I decided to ask her how good business was for her and her husband and he or she responded with a smile and said, "We always appreciate the wealthiness and generosity of this land, as you are able to see, we don't have a very high living standard, but we have been very pleased with that which you have, I love my idyllic and peaceful life with my man and the way could I ever want something more". This reminded me of a vintage proverb which goes "Happiness can not be measured by how much money you might have in the bank, if you can be satisfied with what you've got, you will be the happiest person inside world".

The beach has become recognized by World Bays as one in the 26 most beautiful bays within the world; then when visiting, I can easily see why. I believe Lang Co beach is often a wonderful and peaceful place for an exclusive tour using your spouse and children. I am already looking towards my next visit when I'll try even more adventurous activities like diving and wind-surfing. My short vacation to Central Vietnam was an enjoyable one and I loved relaxing for the beaches and talking to the locals, I even learned a valuable lesson in regards to the valuation on life from local shop here and just how to see happiness through their eyes.
