Les Menuires is an excellent resort in the Belleville Valley, in the Three Valleys region. There are plenty of great catered chalets here, especially near to La Masse, and you will find fabulous skiing throughout the season, with snowmaking facilities on many of the pistes.

One of the best things about Les Menuires is the amount of activities on offer for those looking for thrills to go with their spills. Whether you want to focus on some more adventurous skiing or get off the slopes entirely, here are some of the best activities to try during your time here.

Enjoy Off-Piste Action

Les Menuires is a super place to go for off-piste action, so if you are a more advanced skier looking for a thrill, you'll be in heaven. The majority of runs begin at La Masse, which is widely accepted to be the best place in the Three Valleys for off-piste skiing. When you stay in the catered chalets around this resort, it's easy to find out about off-piste excursions and head out with a guide.

Go Cross-Country Skiing

If you want to enjoy some relaxing skiing but escape the crowds, cross-country is the best option. You will be able to enjoy exploring the stunning natural landscape that surrounds the resort in relative peace. However, you will need to be a good skier and it is best to go with an organised tour for your own safety.

Les Menuires has 28 kilometres of trails ready to explore, but there are many more throughout the Three Valleys – it just depends how far you want to go. Le Doron is the longest trail, so check this out first.

Tobogganing

The above options are ideal for the more advanced skiers staying in the resort's catered chalets, however, if you are in this resort with young children there are plenty of activities for them too. One option is to head to the Roc ‘n’ Bob toboggan run. This is a great way for the whole family to have fun together, as you race down four kilometres of runs. It's fast, frantic and a lot of fun!

There is a huge range of activities to enjoy in Les Menuires if you want to enjoy something other than skiing. The region provides fun the entire family, and it is heartening to know that there are other things to do if you want to get off the slopes. Book your catered chalets, plan your activities and get out there with your family for some wonderful winter fun!
