ISO Certification is a method of controlling quality of products, processes and services. It is presently used by both companies as well as customers. It adds credibility by demonstrating that your product or service meets the expectations of your customers.

It can be said as the title of a document (Standard) that provides requirements, specifications, guidelines or characteristics that can be used consistently by an organization to ensure that materials, products, processes and services are fit for the quality purposes.

ISO:

  1. ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION : This ISO is for quality Management System. It can be used by any organization, large or small, irrespective of its field of activity. It helps in ensuring that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

  2. ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION (Green Certificate): This ISO is for environmental management system. It can provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

  3. ISO 13485: This ISO is for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements.   6. ISO 20000: It is a service management system (SMS) standard. It specifies requirements for the service provider to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and improve an SMS. It can be used by both service providers as well as service seekers.

  7. ISO 22716 (Good Manufacturing Practices i.e. GMP/ GDP): It is for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. It cover the quality aspects of the product but neither cover safety aspects for the personnel engaged in the plant, nor protection of the environment.
