Located in the south-eastern part of the United States of America, Miami is a beautiful port city that attracts plenty of tourists from different corners of the globe every year. It can be an ideal destination to take a break from your hectic lifestyle and unwind on charming beaches. You can also have some fantastic experiences while getting around in this city during your holidays and exploring its fascinating art-deco buildings. If you're seeking an exciting nightlife, the city would delight you with its elegant nightclubs, restaurants, and bars that have impressive interiors and a wonderful ambience.
The spring season from March to May would be the best time to enjoy your holidays to Miami. If you wish to avoid large crowds of college students arriving in the city to enjoy their spring break, visit during late April or first-half of May. Winter from December to February is a busy tourist season. If you're looking forward to having a great holiday during this time of the year, especially in the week of Christmas and New Year celebrations, you'll have to book your stays several months in advance. Another busy season is the period from June to August, as the summer season brings many families in large numbers to the beaches.
If you wish to enjoy cheap holidays to Miami, plan your holiday in the autumn season between September and November. Owing to the possibility of hurricanes, not many people visit the city in this season. If you're still willing to travel during this time of the year, you'll be rewarded with some excellent deals on accommodations by the hotels. South Beach is one of the most popular attractions in this part of the United States. This beach is a part of the Miami Beach municipality and connected to the mainland city by bridges.
While getting around in the Art Deco Historic District during your holidays to Miami, you'll get to witness the marvellous buildings that have been built in the Art Deco style of architecture. Many of these buildings have been restored in recent times, and some of them still function as hotels. Another exciting place worth visiting is the Bayside Marketplace. This large mall gives you memorable shopping experiences with more than a hundred shops, live entertainment, and some fabulous cafes and restaurants. Don't forget to explore the Bayfront Park, as it houses some magnificent attractions like the World War II Memorial and the Pepper Fountain.
You'll also be delighted to visit the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. It was the winter home of a 20th-century industrialist called James Deering. Spread across a vast area of 28 acres, the estate has beautiful gardens home to pools, fountains, and sculptures. If you wish to have a Latin feel while being in an American city, head to Little Havana, the Cuban district of Miami, which also has excellent options in entertainment. Jungle Island is another intriguing place explored by plenty of tourists who arrive in this city for their holidays. It is home to nearly 2,000 varieties of plants and several species of birds and wild animals.
