Memory Card: Buy which one is best for you

Camera, mobile, tablet, drone... without memory card almost does not serve you anything. But which one is the best for you?

Class: indicates the minimum write speed in MB / s. Class 10 means 10 MB / s.

Speed Is Not Everything

The test showed huge differences in speed and prices. The most expensive card costs € 333 and the cheapest only € 21. But who needs a high-speed card?

Above all, photographers that shoot a high resolution photo in series. With a slow card, you have to wait for the photos to be stored in memory. Users of good cameras should use a card of at least 100MB / s.

If you record video, you do not need the fastest card: even in 4K, a writing speed of 30 MB / s is enough. All the candidates got it.

On the other hand, although fast cards copy photos and videos from PC faster, you need a fast card reader connected to a USB 3.0 port (available in the market from about 15 Euro).

Conclusion

One test, five winners: among the microSD, they won the Kingston uSD Rea (64 GB) and the SanDisk Extreme Plus UHS-I (128 GB). Of the SD cards, the first were the PNY Elite performance (64 GB) and Hama SDXC U3 V30 top (128 GB). And in the SD UHS-II (128 GB) win Sony G Series SDXC UHS-II.
