Tally - Next Generation

Tally is the most liked and used Accounting and ERP software in India. The reason for Tally being so popular in India as well as globally is due to its continuous development according to the dynamic industrial requirements.

Tally Solutions was established way back in the year 1986 by Bharat Goenka. Shyam Goenka the father of Bharat Goenka ran a business of supplying raw materials and machine parts to plants and textile mills across india. While working in this business, he was facing the problem of accounting as he was unable to find a software that manages the books of accounts, he asked his son, Bharat Goenka to develop a software that can maintain the books of accounts for his father’s business. This is how Tally was developed and till today is used for accounting and various other business management processes.

Initially, Tally was just an accounting software used to make transaction related entries and to manage the books of accounts. But later on as the world moved towards more digitization, Tally came up with its Tally ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) version. This Tally ERP 9 version introduced various other features such as the Payroll management, Inventory management etc. Recently, that is in the year 2017, when GST was introduced in India for the first time, Tally was one of the first few software to become a GST Suvidha Provider(GSP) i.e. Tally can be used to file returns directly from the software.

Today, Tally customers already know what new is on its way in Tally. It is Tally18 the latest version of Tally that will change the entire user experience. Tally Solutions announced about Tally18on 18th June at 18:00 pm. It will bring about a very significant change in the software.
