Set Up and Manage Your Salesforce Knowledge Base
Give your website visitors, clients, partners, and service agents the ultimate support tool. Salesforce Knowledge lets you create and manage a knowledge base with your company information and securely share it when and where it’s needed.Available in: Salesforce Classic, Lightning ExperienceSalesforce Knowledge is available in Performance and Developer Editions and in Unlimited Edition with the Service Cloud.
Salesforce Knowledge is available for an additional cost in: Professional, Enterprise, and UnlimitedEditions.
Your Salesforce Knowledge base is built from knowledge articles, which are documents of information. Articles can include information on process, like how to reset your product to its defaults, or frequently asked questions, like how much storage your product supports.
Experienced service agents and internal writers write the articles. The articles are then published to a range of channels: Internal App, customer and partner communities, or public websites. Where and what information is published is based on the article layout profile and the field level security.
As of Spring ’17, Knowledge is available in both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience. Lightning Knowledge, which is Generally Available, is recommended for orgs new to Knowledge, or for existing orgs that can easily consolidate to one article type.

Backupify For Salesforce Exports FAQ
Export FormatsSingle Table
If you download a single table, you will get a CSV. This CSV can be imported back into Salesforce using their Apex Data Loader, Import Wizards, or other fancier tools like DemandTools. (FYI: the Apex Data Loader only runs on Windows.)
Metadata
If you download your Metadata, you will get a.zip file which contains xml files that describe your metadata and a package file that lists all the metadata in the.zip. You can open this with the Force.com IDE (or equivalent) to manage it.
Full Export
If you perform a full Salesforce export, you will receive an email with a link to download a.zip file. You will need to extract that.zip file to get the exported data. Please note that full exports are currently disabled
File Download
If you download a file, you will receive that file in its native format (.pdf,.xls,.doc,.gif, etc.).

Connecting to Salesforce is a quick process that your customer success manager will take you through. You can also connect to a Sandbox instance.
If you're installing packages for SurveyMonkey's custom response object, the Salesforce account you connect to needs permission to access Leads, Contact, Opportunity, Case, and Account objects.
Connecting a SurveyIf you’re connecting a survey that’s already collected responses, those responses you collected before you set up the integration won’t populate in Salesforce. But all the responses you collect before and after you set up the integration are recorded in the Analyze Results section of SurveyMonkey.

Want to land a better job in 2017? If you do one thing in pursuit of that goal this year, you should add Salesforce skills to your resume. It's one of the fastest-growing, most in-demand skills out there. And it's ubiquitous. From software developers, solutions architects and designers to project managers and marketing and sales professionals, it's a skill that almost every professional can benefit from.
The demand for these roles tied to Salesforce and its ecosystem is already present, says Alexandra "Gigi" Neuenfeldt, tri-state and national sales manager for IT recruiting and staffing firm Mondo, and she doesn't see that abating anytime soon.
"The demand from the market is really high; demand for developers who can build on and around existing Salesforce platforms, Salesforce administrators, project managers with Salesforce experience, Salesforce training specialists, Salesforce solution architects. Our clients need talent for everything from low-level reporting professionals to high-level developer skills to integrating Salesforce tools and to architects and solutions developers that specialize in customizing the platform to their organization's needs. There's a huge range of skillsets tied to this one area," Neuenfeldt says.
