Yes, we are talking about the smart propane tank. It will now be easier than ever before to check on the level of your propane tank. Add that to the fact that we are sure that soon there will be an application to warn you when your tank is getting low and you will no longer have to think about it. We are eve sure that there is going to be an application that will automatically order propane for you when it gets to a certain point. There will no longer be any excuses as to why you have run out of propane.

Delivery

We currently offer our customers three different options when it comes to delivery. The first one is automatic. Right now, we are the only one that can monitor your smart tank. In the future, we see us opening that up to the customers. We just need to make sure that it is a secure connection so that neither party is inconvenienced. We would not want to make a delivery to your house, only to find out that you do not need any propane at this time. Additionally, we don’t need for you to have a need for a fill-up and find out that the order was not made. So, for now, we will be solely responsible for monitoring your propane level and let you know when you need to refill by e-mail. You can authorize us to do this automatically and you will simply receive the bill.

The second way that you can choose is to have a timed delivery. This means that you have knowledge of how much propane you use on a regular basis. You can then schedule to have us deliver to you at regular intervals. You will not need to call us to come since you already made the plan based on your fuel consumption. This is a little riskier since you may run out of propane prior to the scheduled delivery date. If that is the case, then you can always use our last method of delivery.

The final delivery option is will-call. This is where you call us when you are running out of propane and we deliver at a time and date that is convenient for you. It is also what you will have to do if you find that your timing of propane usage is a little off. Just remember, we are going to need at least a week make the delivery as we do have other customers.
