Salwar kameez is staple item of clothing worn by women in the Indian subcontinent. Be it wedding ceremony, religious functions or a parties, this ethnic wear it suited for every occasion. The outfit is popular in India and Pakistan. A salwar kameez is a three-piece attire consisting of a trouser, tunic and shawl-like scarf. The popularity of Indian ethnic wear has reached an extent that the total sales has crossed Rs. 1,26,210 crore in 2019. Now women from all over the world buy salwar kameez online.

Here are the mistakes you must avoid to flaunt your salwar kameez -

  1. Fabric - When selecting a fabric for your unstitched suits avoid bulky and coarse fabrics. You will look stout and bland in a fabric which doesn’t flows. Chiffon, silk, crepe are the best choices. They flow freely adding grace to your appearance. If you are not sure about the type of fabric, visit a few exclusive Indian salwar kameez nearby your home.

  4. Colour Coordination - Though it’s normal to match the colours of the accessories and footwear, it not advisable for salwar kameez. To stand out in this ethnic wear contracting is the key.

8. Fitting - The suit are meant for showing off your curves. An ill-fitted kurta is unappealing. If you have gained or lost weight, get the kurta tailored to fit your present body size. Always buy salwar kameez from a stores which has an in-house tailoring available.

9. Footwears - Choosing a footwear that goes with the salwar is vital. If you are wearing a three-fourth salwar wear heels. For a salwar that ends at the ankles, mojaris is a good choice.
