This place holds great history and importance as well. basically, Haridwar means Hari ka Dwar ( Gods own place) It is also a gateway of Chardham Yatra Sites Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri & Yamunotri. The Ghats in Haridwar attracts so many visitors every year. There are many places to visit and explore God's own Land. Har ki Pauri is one of the keys attraction of tourist, hence This is the ghat where devotee has a sacramental bath in the holy river "Ganga". In the evening on Har ki Pauri a Ganga Aarti performed by the devotee and the entire view is just unforgettable.

Every year thousands of pilgrim visit this amazing place and explore loads of temples, Ashrams, And the holy river Ganga. Rishikesh is also a gateway of Chardham Yatra.

Rishikesh is also renowned for its yoga centers which attract a large number of tourist and spread the importance of this place. Every year the Yoga International Day also celebrated at a grand level. There are some famous Yoga centers are Shivananda Ashram, Parmanand Ashram, Yoga Niketan, Sadhana Ashram. Neenkanth, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula are also famous places to see. But Rishikesh is not all this hence, This place is also famous for adventure activities as well. like Rafting, Camping, Rappelling, Cliff jumping.

Rishikesh is also famous for White Water Rafting and it attracts a large number of tourist across the world.
