The Catskills close location to New York City make it one of the most popular places for New Yorkers to go to get away from it all. Murder Mystery Weekend

This is for the adventuresome soul who likes a little drama and mental challenge. Located in Greene County in the Glen Falls House, this adventure weekend allows you to meet the suspects on a Friday night and by Sunday morning you get to find out who the guilty party is.

The Glen Falls House itself provides four unique accommodations:

• Main House: Like a bed and breakfast set up with a variety of bed sizes by room. Rooms generally have one bed, but there are ones with multiple beds available.
• Cottage rooms: High ceiling rooms with a shared deck. Comes with one full bed or two twin beds
• Motels: A variety of rooms that are either attached to the cottage, overlook the ball field or have a secluded porch facing a wooded area.
• Guest House: Four bedrooms, two shared bathrooms and a private deck. Great for families.

Cost is affordable, less than $250 per adult. Weekend includes three meals a day.

July 4th Weekend Celebration at Gavin’s Irish County Inn

This is an all-inclusive weekend that includes three nights and four days of accommodations. Two meals per day are provided and you’ll start your vacation with a dinner upon arrival. You’ll also get a breakfast on the morning you leave. Designed for families, there’s East Durham’s July 4th Parade and Evening fireworks and family activities all day like a talent show and Family Night. Columbus Weekend Holiday at Pollace’s

At the Italian themed Pollace’s, guests get to enjoy Italian themed meals and plenty of family fun. Meals are served three times a day. There’s usually a weekend poolside Hawaiian buffet. The pool is large with areas for children to play. Since the area is family friendly, there is also a large wooden play structure for hours of kid play.
