After passing out 10th standard, there are only a few Certificate and Diploma courses available for students. To pursue some of the Professional Diploma courses and Bachelor’s Degree courses, you must be at least 10+2 passed. The duration of the course varies from institute to institute. Along with certification courses given above, you can also apply for some diploma courses after 10th.

Keep in mind that you need to complete 10+2 to apply for animation courses in many institutes. It is the minimum required qualification to pursue Diploma courses. Some institute also allows 10th passed students to join the courses. So, you need to consider eligibility criteria when taking admission, which is set by a specific institute. Diploma courses of beginner’s level last for up to 6 months to 1 year. Course duration varies according to institute. Along with diploma programs and certificate courses, students can also attend workshops after passing 10th.

Animation after 10+2

If you are planning to pursue animation courses after 10+2, there are so many options. You can apply for Advanced Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree courses. Some of the best Bachelor’s Degree programs are BFA, BA, BVA (Visual Arts), and B.Sc. in Multimedia, Animation, VFX, Graphics, and Digital Filmmaking. You can opt for professional and detailed diploma programs after 12th. The duration of professional diploma is around 1 to 2 years long and Bachelor’s degree programs are 3 years.

Career in Animation

If you really want to pursue career in animation, it is highly recommend completing at least 10+2 and going for Professional Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree courses in animation.
