Antoni Gaudi used his unique skills for the construction of the church and till date, the skills and techniques are used by the engineers who are responsible for the completion of the church. The church is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 right after 100 years of Gaudi's death.
  3. The yearly cost of construction for Sagrada is 25 million eurosYou can't guess the total money invested in the construction of the church but for now, we know the yearly expenses of the church. However, the Sagrada has neither received funding from the public nor from the church. It has been relying on the tickets sale for its funds or from private donations.
  4. Antoni Gaudi died in a tragic accident and was not recognized audio passed away when he was 73 in 1926. He was on his daily routine to work and in midway, he was hit by a Tram in Barcelona. However, the architect was very famous in the whole Barcelona city and anyone could have recognized him but at the time of the incident, he was wearing shabby clothes and was not carrying any kind of identification so people assumed that he was a beggar. He was instantly rushed to the hospital and on the same day, Sagrada Familia Chaplain recognized him.
