When talking about Penang, the first thing that comes to mind is that there are always a variety of food menus available in Penang from the roadside to the popular food outlets. But besides being a paradise for food, Mutiara Island is also home to many popular attractions among travelers that can be visited for free! Here are some of my favorite Penang vacation spots that you can visit for free.

Interesting Places in Penang Free

1. Batu Feringghi

For someone who loves nature and loves the ambience of a breeze on the beachside while enjoying the beautiful view of the sunset like me, this place is perfect for you. What attracts you along the beach is that you will find plenty of places to eat, so you can eat while enjoying the beautiful sunsets. In the evenings you can spend some time sightseeing around the beach while enjoying a fairly cool breeze. The atmosphere at night is also quite lively here, illuminated by colorful lights. Book the ticket to see this place with Wonderfly Promo Code and get exciting offers..

2. Bukit Bendera

The weather and conditions in Penang can sometimes be quite hot, so what do you say climbing activities to get fresh air and cooler than heat and city heat. The main attraction above the Flag Hill is The Sky Walk which seems to be in the air. From here, you can see the scenery of Penang and the Andaman Sea. How amazing!

In addition, there are many more attractions I've visited such as The Owl Museum and Love Lock. Taking inspiration from the world-famous bridges of love, couples can now put a key on the fence as their sign of love. If you do not carry padlocks, do not worry! There are many padlocks with different models and sizes sold in nearby stores. Choose the one you like and your partner!

3. Lorong Kulit Flea Market

If you like to see old and antique items, this place is great! Take a look around and look at the different types of antique and traditional items you may have never seen like black plates, antique cameras, old money, and more.

This lane is well-known among locals and tourists, so prices are sometimes slightly higher. Make sure you bargain before buying. If you want to come here, I recommend you come here before 9 pm because they usually closed at noon.

4. Armenian Road Penang

Do you like to take pictures and selfies? If so, this road is a must-have for exploring all the way through this area. I am very impressed with the artwork that shows the everyday life of Penangians and Georgetown's history.

In Armenian Street there are only 5 sculptures and mural paintings located close to each other. Some are made with humor; some are nostalgic. So your photos here will certainly have diversity. It's time to show your creative side and take as much photos as possible.

For those who want to save money but do not want to minimize the fun you'll get, Penang is definitely the right destination! And for those who want to go here for more than 3 days, I suggest you to buy a fast bus tour pass for only RM30 only to use the 7-day unlimited service with Expedia Malaysia. Many places of interest in Penang where you can visit for free, so what are you waiting for?
