People use dual monitors for different purposes. But you may not be able to disable taskbar on a second monitor especially when you wish to empty space on your desktop. Follow the instructions listed below to complete this procedure successfully.
Steps to Disable Taskbar on a Second Monitor in Windows 10
- Click on the Windows key provided on the system keyboard.
- Otherwise, press on the Windows symbol to open the Start menu.
- Press on the Settings symbol provided in the menu with the left-hand side of the display.
- After opening the Windows Settings option, press on the Personalization option.
- Choose the Taskbar option by going to the menu list given on the left-hand corner of the screen.
- Go down to the Taskbar menu.
- After going to the Multiple Displays column, press on the switch given under the "Show taskbar on all displays" option.

- If you have enabled the Duplicate mode in the second monitor, then start using the Autohide option.

- Open the Start menu by going to the desktop.
- Press on the little cog symbol given next to the left-hand side of the display.

- After that, press on the OK option.

- Go to the Apple menu.
- Choose the System Preferences option.
- After that, choose the Mission Control panel option.
- Search for the "Displays have separate spaces" option and unselect it.
