  • Reinitialize the Driver
  1. Click on the Windows and R keys together.
  2. Enter the "devmgmt.msc" in the search bar.
  3. Click twice on the Sound, Video and Game Controllers option to enlarge it.
  4. You need to right-click on the Realtek Audio Driver option.
  5. Choose the Uninstall option.
  6. Press on the Yes option.
  7. Go through the on-screen guidelines for uninstalling the driver from the system.
  8. Press on the Actions option.
  9. It is located on the upper side of the screen.
  10. Choose the Scan for Hardware Changes option.
  11. Now, the Windows will start scanning and installing the driver automatically.

  • Checking for Malfunctioning Drivers and Updating Manually
  1. Click on the Windows and R keys together.
  2. It will launch the Run prompt box.
  3. Enter devmgmt.msc in the provided field.
  4. Click on the Enter option.

  6. Find Sound drivers.

  2. Enter devmgmt.msc in the provided box.
  3. Press on the OK button.
  4. Find the Realtek Audio Driver option.
  5. It is located in the Sound, video and game controllers.
  6. You need to right-click on it.
  7. Choose the Uninstall option.
  8. Go through the guidelines for uninstalling the driver.
  9. Start rebooting the computer.
  10. Go to the Device Manager option.
  11. By going to the upper side of the toolbar, press on the Action option.
  12. Select the Scan for hardware changes option.
  13. It is located in the menu list.
  14. After completing all these steps, you will get the Realtek option in the menu list of all the available devices.
  • Turn off the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for HD Audio
  1. Click on the Windows and R keys together.
  2. Enter the devmgmt.msc in the Run prompt box.
  3. Press on the OK button.
  4. Enlarge the System Devices option.
  5. Find the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for HD Audio option.
  6. You need to right-click on it.
  7. Choose the Disable option.
  8. After disabling the driver, start installing the Realtek drives once again.
  9. In case you don’t use the driver files, go to the Manufacturer website for getting the updated drivers.
