Disney D23 Expo: MCU Phase 4, Disney Plus, Star Wars and Everything Else To Expect

Disney’s biannual event is just around the corner, and we cannot help but feel intrigued about the upcoming convention. Known worldwide as D23, Disney convention provides a sneak peek at the inner functions of the House of the Mouse. It may be about Disneyland’s all over the globe, TV show news, and movie stuff surrounding Star Wars or MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The expo can never be expected to be a bore.

Previous time attendees have been treated with unique inside footage, goodies, merchandise, and exclusive news too. The expo will take place in Anaheim, California from August 23rd to 25th.

By this time, we all should know better than to expect any kind of vital information release from Disney. But if the recent Comic-Con has taught us anything, it’s that Disney is not restricted to the standard rules.

Disney filled the San Diego Comic-Con 2019 with Marvel announcements. The House of the Mouse loves to surprise the fanbase, and it has not backed away from teasing us to our max limits since we have only seen a teaser trailer and merely some photos for the upcoming film.

The Star Wars franchise is set to return with the ninth movie, but the franchise is nowhere near to finish.

Disney Plus Update

Disney has fixed a two-hour slot on August 23rd for information regarding Disney Plus. Another piece of information we already have is that we will be getting our first trailer for The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau. It could also provide the stage for the confirmation of the rumored return of Evan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a series exclusive to Disney Plus. It can be considered unexpected, but certainly not out of the blue as the rumors surrounding him are all over the Internet this August.

Disney announced that it's streaming platform will soon be available internationally. We can expect information relating price scheme, pre-orders, and show bundles in the upcoming expo.

Information related devices compatible with the streaming service also got released.

Pixar and Marvel News

The Walt Disney Studio panel is expected to release a load of movie-related information on August 24th. The information would not just be about Disney Proper, but will also contain pieces about Marvel Studios, Pixar Animation, Lucasfilm, and Disney Animation.

There are low expectations regarding Marvel information as we got a lot of it at the Comic-Con. But Disney has surprised the fans previously so that nothing can be said for sure. There are probable chances that we may get pieces regarding The Eternals, and the Loki based TV series though both of the series has not yet officially started.

Fans priorities’ include further information regarding the Black Widow clip showcased at the Comic-Con.

There is also Frozen 2, Onward, The Little Mermaid, and Mulan.

Nevertheless, the fans are more than excited to visit the upcoming Disney Expo held in Anaheim, California.
