  5. Next, choose a language, and then wait till the diagnostic tool is running.

  1. Firstly, press the symbol of Apple. It shall be towards the upper right-hand side corner.
  2. After that, select About This Mac.
  3. Then, press on the System Report.
  4. Next, tap on Storage.
  5. After that, choose your main drive.
  6. Then, move downwards to ‘S.M.A.R.T. Status.’ And view the text that has been written immediately after it. ‘Verified’ implies that the drive is functioning correctly. Whereas if it states ‘Failing,’ it means that it can be the reason behind the issue. The drive shall become ‘Fatal’, and you shall need to replace it or else the Mac device.
