One of the fascinating tours would be to combine the two landlocked kingdoms of Nepal and Bhutan. And if you are traveling solo and would like to visit these two kingdoms where there is still a king ruling over its people, then there cannot be a more fantastic place than Nepal and Bhutan. Tour operators recommend typically a tour consisting of around ten days in each of these two places, otherwise, it will be a waste, and the only thing you will get is altitude sickness. Combining the hospitality of the Nepalese and the Bhutanese who still consider culture and traditions over thousands of years to obtaining the Chinese permit to visit Tibet. Well, for a traveler it’s a contrasting experience.

The recommended route

Tibet is the largest among the three places. It covers the entire Tibetan plateau, and it's a vast land on the roof of the world surrounded by the gigantic Himalayan mountain range. To Tibet’s west, lies the scenic Nepal which has India on all its side and to its south is the small landlocked kingdom of Bhutan, famously known as the last Shangri-La in Asia.

There are only two possible routes to travel between these three places.Route 1 - Bhutan – Nepal – Tibet

Since one can get to Bhutan from India, it makes sense to start from this particular location. After touring Bhutan, the next destination would be to fly to Nepal. Multiple flight options are available throughout the week, and it takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to reach Kathmandu from Paro.

Once you have finished your tour to different sites in Nepal, there are two options to fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa and tour Tibet or take a route by road as Tibet borders Nepal. This overland route is quite popular to get to Lhasa from Nepal. On the way on this route, one can visit Mount Everest, Shiatsu, and Giants Kumkum. From Tibet, one can take a flight or travel by train to one of the seven gateway cities across China.

Route 2 - Tibet - Nepal – Bhutan.

This route is more or less the same, only it is another way round. From Lhasa, you will travel overland to Kathmandu in Nepal. You can take a bus to Kathmandu, and begin your tour of Nepal. After touring Nepal, take a flight to Bhutan.

You will not be able to book the flight without a booked tour of Bhutan with a registered tour operator who deals in Nepal Bhutan Tibet Tour Packages. After finishing the tour of Bhutan, you can get the flight out to either Nepal or India.

Apart from requiring a visa to Bhutan and Nepal, one also needs the Tibet Travel Permit to enter Tibet. Any accredited travel agency will be able to help you with the necessary details regarding the tour. Even the tour operators provide these travel documents on your behalf who regularly conducts India tour packages under budget. The tour operators are experienced to handle everything related to the touring needs of the travelers. So make sure you get in touch with one soon.
