Why you should watch Karunesh Talwar’s “Pata Nahi Par Bolna Hai”?

Indian comedian Karunesh Talwar has come up with his stand up comedy special on Amazon Prime videos and I personally can't get enough of it. First of all everyone should check out Karunesh's stand up videos on Youtube.

This comedy special is 50 minute and long and hilariously crafted. Talwar talks about women, uncles, Indian rappers and more about uncles and some more about uncles and how much he is scared about turning into an uncle.

Uncles, Uncles and Some More Uncles

Yes, this special is about the specific uncle behaviour. Uncles are all around us and their stereotypical habits annoy us throughout the country but this is the first time that this specific uncle behaviour has been shed some light upon and raised as an issue that also in a really funny way.

Talwar goes about his experiences with a perfect timing and zero fumbles (wait till you watch it) and the audience can't get enough of it. The best thing about the entire show is that we have seen all the things he talks about, we know these uncles, these uncles are present all around us, these uncles are our dads, Mamas and Chachas and soon enough all men will turn into these uncles.

Troubles Caused by Uncles

The part I loved the most is how he accepts that women in general go through a great deal of difficulties and problems just cause men think that they are entitled to cause them. The general Indian upbringing of boys turns actually turns them into man babies who are dependent on women around them for every little thing and won't even accept that there lies a problem with them.

Talwar's narration fits perfectly with the story, he indeed has pulled the entire act perfectly without any fumbles (once again I would say, just watch the show). This is a special I thought that I should have seen live but sadly had to make do with the video. Though it is very well edited (this is also something that you will get after watching the comedy special).

There is a reason that Talwar is known as one of the best stand-up comedians in India and this special tells you exactly why he is known for that. This is his first special and he surely will win your heart with his quirky jokes and relatable content.

Appreciating Women in General

The way he talks about women, in general, should be appreciated, he is not at all misogynistic and also comes forth with the sad reality of life but in an eye-opening way. The way it tells us how we are treating a certain gender for a long time and how they deserve appreciation and recognition for what they do for men. And also how men can improve certain things about themselves and cause less trouble for their partners.

He talks about how scared he is of the fact that one day he will end up turning into an uncle himself and he really wants to focus on how he wants to have some redeemable qualities. It is comparatively a shorter special than what they already have on Prime videos but definitely one of the best. If you are looking forward to something this weekend then Karunesh Talwar's "Pata Nahi Par Bolna Hai" should definitely be something that you should be watching.
