In India, children under completion of the age of 14 are a crime. The goal of the Child Labour Act 1986 deals completely against the child labors. These teenage children should be set free to study, play and lead a carefree life. In some Indian houses, the children under the age of 14 are sent to work because of the harsh condition and atmosphere that makes the future of the family to the threat. This is also considered as the significant causes of child labour in India.

When these children are sent to work, there will be under development, incomplete growth in physical and mental development. There are also some of the child labour laws in India that enforce child labuors.

Factor act, 1948

Section 22 says that the children under the age of 15 should not be allowed to clean, lubricate or adjust any position of the machine. It is because the child will not know to handle properly and it may get hurt.

Section 23 says that no young person will be allowed to employ to work in any dangerous machines.

Section 27 says that employing the children in any part of the factor for the pressing cotton will be the crime.

The Beedi and Cigar Workers Act, 1966

Section 24 says that employment in these types of the industry will be strictly punishable as it leads to serious health issues for the children.

Plantation labour Act, 1951

Section 25 defines that the children and women should be employed only for the specific time form 6 am to 7 pm. The employers who cross this limit are punishable.

Domestic workers Act, 2008

Section 14 says that no children should be allowed as a domestic worker for any of the incidental or ancillary work.

For any person, it is necessary that they need to enjoy certain things are certain stages of life. Children under the age of 15 are not, mentally and physically to work. This is the key reason for all the Indian labour laws and the strict rules followed today.

The Act was introduced to regulate payment and working conditions and assess the exploitation and trafficking of girls and other youthful household employees. Domestic workers are in the unorganized sector and unorganized, therefore there are practical difficulties to cover them. (Act is exposed to State laws and so the State governs its implementation. However, Centrally notification date is still pending)
