The famous anime franchise Pokémon is still relevant in the market due to its great business expansion. After collaborating with several companies, they are known to present effective content. One of their major expansion was to enter into the gaming world, and their first generation of video games was Pokémon Red and Blue releasing on February 27, 1996. Now, recently, we got the eighth generation of the game known as Pokémon Sword and Shield. The Pokémon game concept demands the player to evolve their Pokémon in order to make them more powerful and win the game. In this blog, we will discuss the evolution process of Togepi and Snom, that players find the most challenging.

How to Catch Snom?

Snom is a low energetic Pokémon that lies in the Ice and Bug-type Pokémon, and it knows only two attacks. Though it is a weak Pokémon, still players are eager to catch it because its evolution Frosmoth is one of the best Pokémon available in the Sword and Shield. In order to catch a Snom, the player should start locating Snom in the snowy surrounding area such as Wyndon City or Circhester.

Tip: Catch Snom in the luxury ball; this will reward you a head start in the next journey.

Evolving Snom to Frosmoth.

The process requires to raise the friendship meter of Snom and its master, so you need to take your Snom to a Pokémon camp. Make sure Snom doesn’t faint as it will reduce the friendship meter and use Snom as your first Pokémon. You can also try feeding Snom with curry and soothe bell. This will take some time to complete as Snom speed is pretty slow.

Begin to move towards the Pokémon center in Hammerlock, and you will find a little boy standing beside the Pokémon center. If the little boy says you are pretty good friends, then your Snom can be evolved. Now, you just need to level up Snom from level 42 to 43 in the night, in a couple of minutes, Snom will turn into Frosmoth.

How to Catch Togepi?

It’s incredibly fortunate to counter Togepi in the Pokémon Sword and Shield, but there are two places where you can try finding Togepi:

  • Use Pokédex and locate the Togepi in Galar map and proceed towards the Bridge Field region.
  • Another place is to check out red exclamation points.

Tip: If you catch Togepi, make sure you develop a good friendship bond with it and try catching it in Luxury Ball.

Evolving Togepi to Togetic

As discussed above, you need to take Togepi to the Pokémon camp and build a strong friendship bond with it. Once you completed the friendship step, now use Togepi in any one of your Pokémon battles. After it receives some level of damage, you need to call it back, and after some time, you will notice that the evolution process begins. You will find a Togetic, and you can also evolve Togetic into Togekiss by using a Shiny Stone.
